Daily Bible Verse: (provided by Christ Notes)
Church Services: Sunday Morning Service is held at 10.30am. A crèche is available for younger children. Kids Church & Young People meet during this Service, with leaving the Service after the Children’s address. Sunday Evening Service is held at 7pmin Hall 2. Church Wednesday the weekly Prayer and Bible Study, is held in the Church Halls on Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm. The Church Wednesday leaflet can be downloaded in pdf or word format. Quarterly Communion Services are held on the first Sunday of March, June and October, in the Church at 10.30am. and also in Hall 2 at 3.30pm. |
Men's Dinner At Baberton Golf Club Another Men's Dinner is being held on Thursday 23 February 2012 in Baberton Golf Club from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. The speaker will be James Dewar on the topic "The Local Church the Hope of the World?" His experience has included being one of the past Vice - Convenors of the Kirk’s Ministries Council, currently Convenor of the Nominations Committee of the General Assembly, past Convenor of the Edinburgh Presbytery Ministries Committee, currently Board Member of the Scripture Union in Scotland and Heriot-Watt Chaplaincy Centre, Chaplaincy role with Juniper Green Primary School and Currie High School, and has made 2 trips to the Cambodia Hope Organisation and built links with our Church. The format as before will be an excellent meal, non-golfing conversation, and then an After-Dinner Speaker to address the gathering for about 20 minutes followed by a short discussion, cost of £18 for 2 course meal including wine and gratuity.
