Juniper Green Parish Church has a number of teams set up by the Kirk Session to help develop the appropriate aspect of the Church’s community life. Each Team has a mixed membership of Church elders and members of the congregation.

The Prayer Team:
1. To prepare the Quarterly Prayer Diary;

2. To plan and prepare monthly prayer inserts in Church Intimations;

3. To encourage the prayer life of the Church. 



The Nurture Team:
1. To consider ways of' allowing people to grow in faith

2. To plan and run events which will promote Christian growth

3. To encourage everyone in the congregation to learn. 

The Social Team:

1. To consider ways by which the people of the congregation may get to know one another better

2. To plan and run social events for the Church.


The Christian Action Team (Service):

1. To serve the community in the variety of ways presently pursued by the present Christian Action Team.

2. To consider and develop new spheres of service to the community.

3. To recruit people to serve.

The Pastoral Care Teams:

1. To arrange visitors for pastoral care of people in their own homes;

2. To visit members in hospital and care for the bereaved by the work of the Bereavement Team.

3. To make the congregation aware of the need to care for others.


The Communication Team:

1. To prepare the Quarterly Church News.

2. To prepare other material for distribution within the congregation and parish;

3. To consider ways to communicate the gospel to the parish area we serve.


The Kids’ Church and Youth Group Team:

1. To provide a Christian learning experience and social interaction for children and teenagers.

Open Door Cafe:

1. To give the opportunity for mothers and their young children of the local community to meet together once a week.

The Catering Committee:

1. To provide catering for Sunday mornings after worship.

2. To provide catering for church social events to the standards required to meet current legislation.

The Finance Committee:

1. To monitor the financial needs of Juniper Green Parish Church;

2. To manage the financial affairs of juniper Green Parish Church;

3. To produce an audited Annual Financial Report;

4. To encourage financial giving of the congregation for the ongoing work of the local and wider Church as well as for special one-off projects.
